Cy Young

Today we had a guest speaker Cy Young he runs the urban radio stations K97.5, 103.9 THE LIGHT, and 107.1. The visit was in hope to inform the class on the radio business. He gave us pointers on how we would get a job at radio stations, as well work in the media. He basically talked about how he runs the stations, the programs, and the process to play the music.
One thing that was very interesting to me was the fact that Mr.Young told us in order to get listeners to listen to his radio stations they play hits over and over on the hour. His visit was very informative an interesting.
